BANGKOK, Thailand, July 12, 2026 — Cypress Pharmaceutical Group, the parent company of Juniper Biologics and Cedar Pharmaceuticals, successfully hosted the 4th Leading Cancer Care Summit (LCCS 2026) in Bangkok, Thailand, on 11–12 July 2026. The annual scientific meeting brought together more than 70 oncology healthcare professionals from seven countries across the Southeast Asia region to exchange knowledge, share clinical experiences, and explore emerging developments in cancer care.
The two-day summit focused on two critical pillars shaping the future of oncology: maintaining treatment success through proactive toxicity management and advancing precision oncology through multi-omics technologies and molecular profiling.
The opening day centred on the growing role of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in cancer treatment and the importance of preserving treatment intensity through effective toxicity management. Faculty members discussed the real-world challenges associated with ADC therapy, including chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), interstitial lung disease (ILD), and neutropenia, highlighting how proactive supportive care strategies can help patients remain on treatment and achieve optimal outcomes.
Scientific sessions explored the concept of “protecting the regimen” through early identification of high-risk patients, prevention-first approaches, and practical management strategies for common treatment-related toxicities. The programme concluded with a case-based panel discussion, where regional experts examined complex clinical scenarios and shared real-world approaches to toxicity management.
The second day shifted focus to precision oncology and the rapidly evolving field of multi-omics. Sessions explored the limitations of traditional next-generation sequencing (NGS) approaches and the growing role of integrated molecular profiling using genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA), and live circulating tumour cells (CTCs). Faculty members discussed how deeper molecular insights can support treatment selection, resistance monitoring, and more personalised patient care.
A highlight of the programme was the Molecular Tumour Board session, which featured live reviews of complex cancer cases from across Southeast Asia. Through multidisciplinary discussion, participants explored how multi-omics data can be integrated into clinical decision-making to guide therapy selection and optimise patient outcomes.
As cancer treatment continues to evolve, it is increasingly important that clinicians have opportunities to share experiences, discuss emerging evidence, and explore practical solutions that ultimately improve patient outcomes. The summit received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, with 98% reporting that the meeting met or exceeded their expectations.
